Charlie
came to be July 27, 2003. His mother was an abandoned cat in my
apartment complex. I took her in as she was infested with fleas, hungry,
and very pregnant. We had a problem of too many stray cats living in our
complex and I could not bear to see any more kittens running wild only
to be hit by a car or worse. Three weeks later "Tippy" gave birth to five
identical kittens. Charlie was the first born and the first to do
everything. His loving personality and his typical cat curiosity got the
best of me. Already having two other cats (who I must say were not pleased
having six more additions), I reluctantly decided not to keep Charlie so I
packed him up and took him to a local pet store to be sold. It literally
broke my heart, so the next day I made a mad dash to the pet store and
bought him back! His has been a part of my family ever since. He is the
most loving cat I have ever known. He has even grown on his brother
"Bud" and his sister "Megan". His mother was adopted by another resident
and is quite content living the easy life indoors. His siblings were
also adopted. Charlie is always there to give me his unconditional love.
His sweet nature is appealing to everyone who meets him. His favorite
game is chasing the laser pointer. His favorite food is 9-Lives Tuna and
Shrimp. He truly was meant to be in my family!
