This
is Greyboy, I think he's about two years old. My office is a
converted house near the square in Marietta, Georgia. Greyboy showed up
as a stray late last fall, living under the house. I fed him for a few
months and ended up taking him home in late winter. He's turned out to
be a loving, beautiful cat.
Greyboy is one of those cats who talk a lot. You know how he feeling and
he leaves no doubt when he thinks it's time to be petted.
He has a playful streak. Every now and then, he'll get a wild look in
his eyes and streak through the house, too fast to follow with your
eyes. We have an almost life-sized painting of a Black Lab on one of the
walls downstairs. When he's in a streaking play mood, he'll attack the
painting for a second or two and tear off in some direction.
You can't work at a desk when he's around. Everything on the desk is his
toy.
As long as he gets his daily dose of affection, he's a happy cat.
