This
is Misty. I believe she is a Russian Blue as she has all the
markings & breed characteristics. I found her at the local Humane
Society in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
After I lost my fifteen-year-old cat to cancer, I couldn't stand to not have
the presence of a cat in the house. I lasted exactly one month before I
got this overpowering feeling that I needed to visit the local Humane
Society to see what cats they had that needed a home. I had always
wanted a Russian Blue and when I walked in I found Misty. Misty makes
me laugh every day with her crazy antics. She loves to play hide and
seek with me and run up and down the stairs like a maniac. She sits on
her perch at the window every morning when I leave for work and is
waiting there every evening when I come home. She loves to hang out
with me in the mornings while I am getting ready for work as you can
tell by her picture. She sits patiently and watches me until I am done
then we head downstairs to the kitchen for her morning treats. Misty is
strictly an indoor cat and has never even tried to go outside since I
brought her home. She is spoiled rotten with tons of toys and lots of
affection every day. Just having her in my life puts a smile on my face
every day. I couldn't imagine not having her and I hope she is around
for a long time to come.
