This
is Booboo, one of our nine cats. Boo is about eight years old and weighs
about eight pounds. We rescued her from the Stratham, NH SPCA when she was six
months old. She was a homeless kitty & was so petite and tiny that the
SPCA staff thought she was only a month old but the vet said her teeth
were that of a six month old kitty. Her name was originally Ginger when we
got her. Once we got her home we saw that she had a kennel cough/cold
and was real sick & lethargic. We nicknamed her Booboo after Laverne and
Shirley's stuffed kitty because she was so sick. A trip to the vet and
medicine soon made Booboo all better. The nickname stuck after that.
Booboo is 1000% Daddy's girl. I have never seen a cat love a human as
much as Boo loves her Dad. When Dad comes home Boo is on the porch
meowing till Dad gets in the house. Then she follows him all around the
house. When Dad takes a shower, Boo is waiting in the bathroom for him.
Boo can be sound a sleep on a shelf and if she hears Dad sit in the
recliner she is on his lap like lightning. If she hears Dad going to
bed, she's there. Boo isn't content to just sit or fall asleep, not
until she purrs and rubs and sings till she is exhausted. Wherever Dad
is in the house it's for sure Booboo can be found with him.
Booboo's favorite activity is to go outside for a walk on a leash. When
she sees me get the leash down she cries and rubs on my legs until I get
the harness on her and away we go.
