This
is Merlijn, he came from abroad (Belgium) together with his
brother Arthur. He has adapted well to his new home. He is a very clean
cat, who washes himself very carefully. He washes not only himself he
washes also his brother Arthur and our little cat Sophia. But when our
little washing machine is not busy enough, he washes also the hair of me
and my friend. If he thinks the hair is too long he simply cuts it off.
He is such a sweet cat. When I wake up he always greets me. He
stands on the TV, waiting to get a hug. He shows his affection by
grooming our hair and hands. He loves to be cuddled. He likes to lay in
our arms on his back looking at us like a baby. Then he stretches out to
get his belly rubbed.
He is a very playful cat. He loves to play with his brother Arthur and
our kitten Sophia. He is very caring towards Sophia. He also loves to
play with toy mice and is a master at catching flies. He claps with his
jaws as soon as he spots a fly. Mostly they are on the other side of the
window but he never gives up trying to catch them. It's very cute to see such
determination. But when the fly comes in the house it is cat food!
