We
got Linus during my senior year at college. We heard about a farm
that was giving away kittens. When we got to the farm we were lead to
the milking room and sure enough there was a litter of kittens in the
back corner. Linus was the only kitten in the litter who was not all
black, he was also the only one who seemed to loved being held. The
deal was sealed and we took him home that day even though he was only five
weeks old, we just couldn't leave him there!
He has grown into a eighteen-pound, lean and handsome cat. Ever since that
fateful day we can not imagine life without him. He has a brother that
we brought home a few years ago. They became fast friends and love
sleeping side by side, cleaning each other and of course raucous rounds
of playful wrestling. Linus is happy to be sitting on your lap as long
as you keep petting him where he wants to be pet. He also loves to play
with his stuffed kitten and goes crazy chasing a laser pointer when his
brother does not feel like playing along. Linus is quite possibly the
best cat ever and has truly been a pleasure to take care of and love.
