Hi,
my name is Sweet Pea. I adopted my parents almost three years ago
when we lived in Montana. I showed up on their door step and meowed so
loud that they had to let me in. It was cold and about to snow. I was
freezing and starving. (As you can see now, I am very well fed.) My
parents tried to find my former owners but no one came forward. They
were going to take me to the animal shelter to be adopted but I was so
cute, they just didn't have the heart to do it. Once my mommy named me,
I knew I was there to stay.
I recently moved to Texas with my parents. I enjoy being a Lone Star
kitty now. I get to go on a lot of supervised trips outdoors but it's
never enough. I wish I was an outdoor kitty but with all the coyotes,
hawks and skunks, my parents don't think it's a good idea. My favorite
things to do are eat, watch birds and other critters, nap and play
chase. I have a good life now. I look forward to my parents coming home
everyday and can't wait for them to pet me. I like to roll over on my
back and get my belly rubbed. It's much better than fending for myself
in the cold northern climate!
