I
would like to introduce to you one of my cats: Blanca. I adopted her a
few years ago. She used to come, every day, to the college I worked in.
She was the most devoted "student," coming every day. So much so that
she got locked in the building a few times...
When I left to a different job, I decided to take her home with me. I
had three other cats at that time, and Blanca was not too young... It was not
easy. I think of it as a "status quo" till this day - mild toleration
between them, not more than that.
Blanca as a mind of her own (well... they all do, really). We live in the
country, and she goes wondering around every day. She prefers the outside
to the house, but comes visit every day for a little TLC - on her
conditions, of course.
She drinks only from the faucet, when she is home she prefers the
computer monitor as a bed, she is not afraid from people at all - not
even kids! She must have learned that in her "college days". She is also
very vocal - having an opinion and saying it about everything.
All in all - I'm very happy I took her with me, and I'm sure she is too...
