I
have the best kitty in the whole world. Her name is Itty Bitty and she
is a Persian Chinchilla kitty. Itty Bitty is my sunshine. She is 9 1/2
years old but only weighs 4.5 pounds so she looks like a kitten. She is
playful and sweet and loving and smart. I adopted Itty Bitty three years ago
and we bonded as I nursed her back to health. See, Itty Bitty's former
Mom decided she didn't want her anymore when Itty Bitty came down with a
terrible case of ring-worm and an upper respiratory infection. She
almost died. But I took very good care of her and over the longest month
of my life was able to get her healthy again.
Itty Bitty is the sweetest little kitty. When I reach down to pet her,
she jumps her head up to meet my hand. She loves to cuddle with me at
night, and will gently tap my face with her paw to let me know I need to
lift the covers so that she can climb in and snuggle on my tummy. And
anytime I sit down, she is right there on my lap. She loves it when I
kiss her on the head and sing to her "Itty Bitty is the sweetest kitty!"
She also loves to chase paper balls and to carry them around in her
mouth meowing.
I remind her all the time that she is the most loved kitty in the whole
world and that she has to live forever because I couldn't go on without
her. I consider myself very lucky to be loved by such a wonderful,
sweet, little kitty!
