Hello,
my name is Neko! I met my owner after her previous kitty, Bootsy
passed away. My owner couldn't stand not having a fluffy ball of love
with her, so she went to the shelter to find someone. She thought she
wanted a boy cat, but once she picked me up, it was love at first purr!
That's right, I like to purr non-stop. I like to tell everyone when I'm
happy. I also love to groom people - I think I was a hairstylist in a
past life. I especially love to chew on hair. It's simply divine!
My other hobbies include ignoring my cat brother, Magnus, sniffing the
wind out the window, eating crackers and popcorn, and chasing the laser
pointer. My chief responsibility is to be a pretty princess.
Fortunately, I'm an expert at that!
Neko is a very affectionate kitty! She can't stand to see any lap
unoccupied. She also loves to nose up under her mommy's book to get
some love. She loves getting to know strangers and purrs any time
someone shares their love with her.
Neko and Magnus get along better now that he's a little more grown up.
They often groom each other and share kisses.
Neko would much rather sit on your lap than play, but if you get out the
laser pointer she will pounce all over it!
Another thing Neko loves is sharing people food. Her favorite people
treat is apples - yum!
When Neko isn't sitting in your lap purring or playing tag with her
brother Magnus, you can find her sniffing the Cleveland air out the
window. She loves open windows and will look out of them for hours.
She truly is a gem of a kitty!
