This
is JoJo, our Manx-mix girl. She is a real character - as you can
probably tell just from her photo! At our house for a snack we eat cold
cereal and to keep from messing up too much we generally eat it out of a
disposable clear plastic cup with a plastic spoon. Inevitably the cup
which usually still has a bit of milk and cereal ends up on a table
beside the bed where the kids usually sit and watch TV after they get
home from school.
One day I heard an unusual sound coming from the bedroom and couldn't
figure out what it was, I went into my bedroom and there was JoJo on the
bedside table sticking her paw gingerly into the cup lifting it up and
slurping, licking the cereal and milk. It was so funny and she would
clean off her paw then re-dip it into the cup, without spilling, and she
was so noisy!
JoJo also helps open Christmas presents each year. She climbs on top of
the present, you know how cats want to be the center of attention? Well,
my daughter was trying to open one gift this year and JoJo started
playing with the paper. She ended up ripping off a lot of the paper, it
is like watching a person open a present. For her the paper is more fun
whatever it is covering! She is a true cat - into everything that's
going on. What ever would we do without her "help?"
