Midnight
wandered into my roommate's bosses' home on a cold day in
December. They could not keep her because they have a dog and the
husband does not like cats. He did think she was a pretty cat, though. I
do no know her life before she came to us but it was faith that brought
her here, as I was going through a rough time, lost of job, financial
problems, etc., and I think she knew that. When she first came into our
home she was a skinny little thing. A month later she was lying on the
bed and my boyfriend said to me "She is getting fat." "Well, I said, "I
think she is going to have kittens." Funny thing is that he left on a
Friday with one cat and when he came home that Sunday there was 1 cat
and four kittens.
Midnight has been a joy ever since. Midnight is a love bug in the
morning she will jump on the bathroom counter and she will give me a hug
while she is purring away. When Midnight wants attention, she
will actually knock me down so I can sit on the floor with her to give
her kisses, hugs and to be petted. (Imagine a nine-pound-cat knocking you
down!) Midnight is the little love of my life and my little best friend.
