This
is Fudgecake, better known as Fudge. Fudge walked into our lives
and our home literally seven years ago. We had a German Shepherd female, not
that Fudge cared. He soon made friends and they taught each other lots
of tricks. Sadly we lost our dog three years later, and was missed by all. We
went out about a year later and brought home two kittens for company for
Fudge, and they all get on wonderfully together, and its so much fun to
watch their antics. The two youngsters help to keep Fudge young.
Fudge is wonderful company for us, he is so loving and has a wicked
sense of humour. He loves to be talked to and in his own way talks back
with lots of squeaks and wows. Unfortunately, I didn't take cat language
in school, but we usually work out what he's saying.
He is really a big softy, but don't tell anyone. Don't want to ruin his
reputation. He loves to be cuddled and his favourite is having his ears
rubbed to the point where he dribbles. He loves to play, and gets this
wild but funny expression in his eyes, and his whole face shows
mischief when he is bouncing around. Talking of mischief, he hides
behind the living room door, when I'm in the kitchen and waits,
patiently, for me to come in, and then pounces on me, this he finds
highly amusing. Have you ever seen a human playing hide and seek with a
cat, well guess it looks really funny, but Fudge loves it and it can be
good fun. He doesn't do any tricks, except a disappearing one when my
grandson arrives.
