Let
me present you all to our adorable Cocoa. We got him though my
husband's coworker's girlfriend who had a Siamese Tabby mix of her own.
We found out that she couldn't care for two cats so we adopted him. We
had been contemplating buying a kitty but couldn't coordinate a time
adopt a cat at PetsMart. At first I was hesitant of what a Siamese Tabby
mix would look like but he turned out to be super cute. You can barely
make out faint stripes on his front legs and the top of his forehead in
this photo. He's also a hefty fifteen pounds. We also thought of giving him
another name but agreed that Cocoa is fitting to his coat color.
Cocoa's antics entail jumping up on our bed in the wee hours of the
morning to wake us up with his unusual meows and also knocks off
whatever is on our nightstands. His favorite hobby is bringing in
countless crickets from the garage. By midweek he has littered the
house with legless crickets and any other insects he can get his paws
on. His pest control skills are top notch and the "gifts" he bestows on
his human parents are genuine. One of Cocoa's favorite activities
involve leaping after his feather toy. He can somersault around five feet
and pants like a puppy when he's tired. He also loves to play
hide-and-seek with Daddy. He loves being petted after spending some of
the day home alone. When I get home, he'll run to the computer room and
box at the cursor.
I don't know what we would do without this little guy, he brings so much
joy to our lives.
