This
is Jasmine, more commonly known as Kitty (original, huh?), who is
originally from a shelter in Ohio. Shortly before she was rescued off
the streets, she had a litter of kittens but unfortunately they all
died. Jasmine herself was very thin and frail, but luckily was nursed
back to health and put up for adoption at the shelter. My wife picked
her out and later moved to Virginia where Jasmine is now a happy and
"full-figured" kitty.
She's a total lap cat who loves to cuddle and turn on her high-powered
turbo purr every chance she gets. She also likes to give head butts and
perform her famous "Circus Kitty" routine where she gets up on her hind
legs, grabs your hand, and pulls it down towards her head for a
variation on her trademark head butt.
Jasmine has an evil stepbrother named Tubby, and although she gives it
her best "kitty try," they just don't get along. But that doesn't stop
her from being the sweet kitty that she truly is. As long as she has a
warm lap, a full bowl of food, and a few kitty treats, she's one happy cat!
