This
is my little girl, Noodle. She didn't like having her picture
taken while she was trying to nap, so she's showing her cat-titude! I
think her markings are what make her so unique - besides her
personality. As you can see from this picture, she has three black legs and
one orange leg, and the very tip of her tail is orange so it looks like
a rattlesnake!
We got Noodle from my mother-in-law. My mother-in-law worked for years
at a vet, so everybody brings kittens to her because they know she will
find good homes. She had been given Noodle and her siblings, and Noodle
was the last one left. I met Noodle for the first time on Memorial Day
and it was love at first sight. She played so hard, showing off
(especially working my husband, because he was reluctant to take her),
then she fell into a deep sleep. No matter what I did to try and wake
her up, she was like a "wet noodle" - thus her name.
Now she's our Princess Noodle - her big sister (Dalmatian) is Queen
Domino. They only tolerate each other. Noodle loves to run and play
with her favorite toys (soft balls and her cat-nip fish), especially in
middle of the night. She prefers to drink her water out of a coffee cup
and she's more than willing to try anything we are eating.
My eleven-year-old hairy-child (dog - Maxine) passed away last year and I
was finally to the point where I was thinking about loving again. It
must have been fate. It's amazing how much life a little furball brings
to a house!
