Hello,
my name is Boo. My Mom rescued me from the Maryland SPCA when I
was two years old. That was eight years ago! I live with my Mom and my cat
sister, Lucy. I didn't know Lucy until Mom brought her home one day
from the SPCA too. We get along pretty good most of the time. We don't
sleep together, but sometimes I groom her and we play-fight. Every once
in a while we fight for real but it doesn't last very long!
Mom named me Boo because I'm a little bit skittish. Okay, actually I'm
a lot skittish. I run from any sudden movements or noises, specifically
don't like the ironing board or the vacuum cleaner, and I hide if anyone
new comes to the house.
I have my own special routines with Mom. If she doesn't get up right
away in the morning when the alarm rings, I talk to her until she gets
up. In the afternoons when she comes home from work I jump up on the
table to get some loving before dinner. Then in the evenings I like to
sit on Mom's lap if she's watching TV, or sit in front of the monitor if
she's online. But the best part is at night when she gets in bed. I
lay on her chest and she rubs my head and ears and chin... my favorite spots!
