Louie
is an extraordinary kitten and deserves some recognition. Louie
was an early 2005 Christmas present and the best thing
that my boyfriend could have given me. I wanted an orange tabby cat so
that my older cat, Brady, who is seven years old, could have a
companion, and I would have a new baby kitty to raise. It was hard to
decide on a name for him because he was so tiny when I first got him and
the only thing I could call him was "Little." He finally got his name
after he lived in his new home for three weeks. Louie likes to play
non-stop even into the early hours of the morning. He enjoys playing
with everything including Q-tips, paper, cardboard boxes, cat toys, hair
ties, cotton balls, a laser pointer, and his own tail.
Louie is starting to grow on Brady, but it will take more time before
they will be best buddies. Louie likes to irritate Brady by jumping on
his back, swatting at his tail, chasing him around the house and down
right biting his legs. Louie has picked up a lot of Brady's habits such
as scratching on furniture and sleeping in the closet. Louie has many
good traits including the way he shows his affection. He enjoys licking
my face, ears and hands as well as curling up and sleeping on shoulders.
The best is when he falls asleep with his tongue hanging out! He just
does not know how cute he really is. Overall, I am very happy that
Louie is an addition to my household and life. He brightens my day and
I think that Louie enjoys his new home and is very content kitty.
