Technically,
my wife Kyla found George at a local animal shelter about
two months ago, but really George found her. He reached his arm out of
his kennel when she walked by and it was love at first sight. Kyla had
been at me to get a cat for years, but I resisted. I hadn't had pets
growing up and had always hated cats (or so I thought). When she
brought George home, however, I melted. Now I spoil him with treats and
toys and am greeted by his purrs and face rubs when I return home from
work. I look forward to spending many years with George.
