My
full name is "Rubanthom Lady Anna" (but you can call me Anna), I am
special because I am unique! I was born with a beautiful short soft
double coat, which hardly sheds due to my breed. (Purebred
pedigree Russian white - (Pedigree dates back to 1902)) Not only was I
born with beautiful blue eyes unlike my brothers and sisters who have
the traditional emerald green eyes, I was also born Deaf.
My mom really loves me and has taught me some hand signals, so I know
when she wants me to come to her. Coming from a large litter I was
chosen because I was special. My half-brothers and sisters never
realized I couldn't hear them, they just believed I was just a little
more braver and louder than the rest of them. lol. My new mommy brought
me home to meet my Half Brother (who is a Purebred Russian Blue) Sir
Ashford (We mostly Call him Ash.) Our mothers were both Russian Blues,
and our daddy was a Purebred Russian White.
At first, I don't think Ash was too pleased with having to share his
toys and food with his younger sister, But within the day I had
him wrapped around my paw!! He even snuggled with me for a nap on my
first night! I have full reign of the house with my brother. Sometimes
I think my mommy gets mad at us for knocking things down and breaking
them. I can see her lips moving, but can't hear a thing!! But since my
brother takes off and hides, I assume we weren't suppose to be doing
things like climbing on top of the Bird cage.;-) I got in trouble one
day cause I thought it would be fun to tip the water bowl over with both
feet and play in the puddles. I guess it would of been ok, if it hadn't
been just freshly refilled. it looked more like a lake than a puddle!
Mom didn't think that was very funny, so she went out that day and
bought us a new Drinking fountain that can't be tipped over. It's really
cool, I like to play in the stream/waterfall. Sometimes I like to use
my paw to scoop out morsels of food from my dish, then play with them,
and hunt them, then pounce on them and eat them. (It's my special
game.) Sometimes I hide some under the doormat for mommy to step on. grin
You can often find me curled up on my mommy and daddy's bed with my
brother. When I'm not sleeping, I look for things to play with. I enjoy
sneaking into the kitchen cupboards to hide and nap, I try not to knock
over everything when I'm coming out, but sometimes that can't be helped
;-). I also love playing with whatever is moving on the Big TV screen
in the living room. I see my mom and dad smiling when I do this, So I
guess its fun for them too! Whenever I feel alone I meow very loud and
someone always shows up to give me love. My brother Ash sometimes will
find me when I am sleeping and wake me up to come play with him. Since I
cannot hear him, he usually startles me. I can usually feel the
vibrations of people coming towards me when I'm sleeping, but Ash is
much lighter so he can sneak up on me. I am a happy Kitty that gets a
lot of love and attention. I feel blessed to be living with my family
including my big brother who celebrated his First birthday on July
4th. My birthday was not long after that.
