Simpkin
lives with his brother Hershey and his two humans. Simpkin's
hobbies are trying to eat string and paper clips (both therefore must be
kept under lock and key), kneading people in the middle of the night,
rolling around on his back, and staring intently. Simpkin has a very
loud purr that has been likened to Darth Vader. His secret name is
Professor Tubbs because we like to pretend he is secretly more
intelligent than humans and conducts scientific experiments when no one
is at home. His usual expression is as pictured in this photo - very
surprised and curious. He also enjoys chasing his brother around the
apartment, and rolling in, then eating, the occasional pile of catnip.
If he and his brother have rolled in some catnip, after he eats his own,
he eats all the catnip off his brother's fur. Simpkin hardly ever meows
and we've only heard him hiss a few times in his life. He lets us clip
his claws with nail clippers without toooo much fuss. Simpkin is special
because sometimes he seems very intelligent and other times he seems
like a furry toddler; we love him very much.
