Charly
is a big, outgoing, fun-loving cat who likes to explore - and
often gets into mischief! Just like a puppy, she'll run to greet us when
we come home, and wag her bushy tail when she's happy. Charly likes to
play "fetch" with a little rubber ball. If she wants attention, she'll
bring the ball to you and drop it in your lap, then make a "chirping"
sound to let you know that she wants to play.
We've discovered that Charly is quite mischievous and takes every
opportunity to sneak through an open door, crawl into a cabinet, climb
up onto a shelf or into a bag or box. In fact, she's been "accidentally"
shut inside a closet or pantry several times until we heard her call out
to be rescued!
Charly was adopted as a companion to our senior cat, Teddy, a
five-year-old gray Tabby mix. Unfortunately, Teddy is much more reserved
than Charly, and they have been slow to become friends. But Charly
persists in trying to win Teddy over with blatant adoration and
occasional grooming, and we hope someday that Teddy will discover just
how lovable Charly really is.
