This
little bundle of energy was born under my deck in the Spring of
2005. I discovered her momma and two brothers in May of 2005. I
suspected Momma was pregnant and was waiting for the kittens to appear
but I got concerned after Momma was no longer heavy and the kittens did
not appear for almost a month. It seems Momma cat had them tucked away
in a crawl space waiting for the right time to show them off to the world.
Tink was almost adopted by a friend of a relative of mine but the gal
decided not to take Tink so she became a permanent resident of my
household. I am very glad that I decided to keep Tink because she makes
me laugh daily and is such a little love bug. She's called by many
names, Tinker Belle, Tink, Lil Baby, Tinker pie, TINK!!!
My day starts off by having Tink greet me outside the bathroom door
after I have showered in the morning. She is usually lying at the top
of the step and she happily rolls around when I open the door of the
bathroom. Of course I have to sit down on the step and give her a belly
and ear scratch. The rest of the morning there is a constant sound of
activity coming from Tink and her brother and the two other cats that
live in my house. Tink and her buddies are a happy group. They run up
and down the hallways and down to the basement where their litter boxes
are. When they run they make this whirring noise that is such a
cheerful sound to me.
Frequently when I get ready to go to bed at night Tink makes it to the
bed before me for our special cuddling time. She isn't a lap sitter yet
so I am happy that we have our special time before I go to sleep.
I have heard and also read that the Tuxedo cats are a special breed and
after having Tink come into my life I truly believe it. She is fun and
loving and entertaining and silly and humorous all wrapped up into one
little cat.
