Bijou
showed up at my back door toward the latter part of November 2004,
no doubt a hurricane refugee as we had so many that year. Skittish at
first this tiny kitten managed to wiggle herself into the house to join
my other kitty, Kismet, also a stray. We don't know her exact breed, but
her markings are strongly suggestive of Lynx Point Siamese.
I had forgotten how funny, cute, inquisitive and naughty kittens could
be and Bijou has brightened up our days with her ceaseless antics. A
visit to the veterinarian, when I had her for couple months, showed that
she was healthy and she received the required shots and I had her spayed
as my kitties are indoor/outdoor (supervised only) girls.
Someone recently asked if the horseshoe marking on her side brought her
luck. Indeed it has, for all of us - for her a good home, for Kismet
someone to mother over, and for me, another loving companion.
