My
name is Miko and I am a blue point Balinese. I live in Ancaster,
Ontario with two doting moms and am rapidly becoming the darling of the
entire community. Prior to finding my present servants I was living in a
foster home where I was cat #4 and seriously underappreciated. My foster
parents loved me but they knew that I need to be numero uno and so they
offered my services to my new moms. Little did they know who was going
to serve whom! I may be "in charge" in our house, but I also know that I
must earn my keep, so I moonlight as the Butler and gallop to the
door before either of my moms are even on their feet! Everyone is
welcome (although the paperboy has yet to accept my invitation to join
us for breakfast, despite the fact that I issue it each and every
morning at 4:30 am!) and I am totally indifferent to the preferences of
cat-lovers and non cat-lovers alike. In my house I sit on your lap and
you'll like it!!! Funny thing is that most people cave in rather
quickly, which amuses me and amazes them! I have discovered that I like
to visit the neighbors too, and as soon as I am asked if I am "ready", I
prepare to climb up on the nearest shoulder and off we go. My moms call
me their "therapy cat", but I don't mind. As long as I am the center of
attention I will tolerate any amount of name-calling. I am the softest,
warmest, most loving cat in the whole world... just ask my friend Ashley,
who begged to be included in my photo. However, make no mistake which
one of us is the "Cat of the Day"!
