Bill, the Cat of the Day
Name: Bill
Age: Two years old
Gender: Male
Kind: Black Silver Mackerel Tabby
Home: Vicenza, Italy, USA

Bill is a very special pet. We have had him since he was approximately six weeks old. He was a stray neighborhood kitten and we took him in. He has several nicknames including Billiam, Billy, Bigun, BB (Big Bill) and Triple B(Big Bellied Bill) to name a few. Originally, Bill's name was Bella. When we first found him, we thought he was a girl, so we named her Bella. It wasn't until we took her to the vet clinic a few days later that we discovered she was really a he. Bill is a very beautiful cat. His coat is very soft and shiny and it has a beautiful tabby pattern. His is big boy, but that only adds to his cuteness. Despite his size, he can still move at lightening speeds.

Bill is a very loving and affectionate cat. He loves being petted and purrs quite loudly to let you know how much he loves it. Occasionally he wants petting while I am sleeping and he will let me know by gently biting me. He absolutely loves being groomed. He also likes to lay on his back and have his belly rubbed. He has the softest, sweetest meow. It is very quiet and sounds more like a little peep.

His hobbies including eating, playing, and napping. Bill is very serious about his food. He faithfully reminds to keep his food dish full and to feed him his daily dose of Fancy Feast. Bill is quite the little carnivore. Chicken, tuna, and turkey are among his favorite meats. On occasion, he likes to lap up the remains of my cereal milk. He also likes to eat lettuce. Once while I was unloading groceries, he found the bag containing the lettuce and he started eating it. He loves to play with colorful, fuzzy mice. He chases them and tears them apart until there is nothing left. He also enjoys chasing string. Bill has a feline brother (or friend, since they are not from the same litter), Toonces, and they get along very well. They play together and take care of each other. They also engage in "cat fights" and those are very entertaining to watch. The majority of his day is spent napping. He has a variety of different napping spots that he utilizes during the day, but at night he sleeps snuggled up next to my side. When Bill isn't eating, playing, or napping; he is usually bathing himself. We often refer to him as a compulsive bather because he does it so often, much more so than our other cat.

Bill is a very well-behaved cat. Occasionally, he gets a little rebellious and does things like scratch the furniture, but he will straighten up as soon as you point a water bottle at him. Overall he is a very sweet cat. He is a wonderful companion and he brings us lots of joy. We love him dearly!
