Hi!
I'm Dewey. I had three brothers once upon a time named Huey and
Louie. A friend of my family's takes in cats and a momma cat had me and
my brothers and sister. Well, my family and my 'mom' wanted another
cat, they were going to pick my sister but I was such a sweet, friendly
butterball of fur that they picked me instead. They had never had a boy
cat before so they didn't know what to expect but I soon set them
straight! I'm a gentleman if I do say so myself. My mom doesn't live
in Utah anymore, she lives in Ohio and I've heard rumors she has another
cat out there but she comes to visit me and she always pets me and rubs
my head so I forgive her. I'm very happy here and feel lucky since my
cat mom took my brothers away and no one knew where they went. So, it's
a good thing I got picked! Who knows where I would have ended up? My
sister still lives with my family's friend and she thinks she's all that
but I like it just where I am. I'm friends with the deer around here, I
chase the annoying dogs next door and basically rule the roost. Life is
good.
Sure Dewey. Yup, I (Alyson, Dewey's 'mom') live in Ohio but I always
think about you! He couldn't come with me because it would be cruel,
he's so happy where he is, as my parents' surrogate son. Dewey is a
great cat, he's so friendly, gentle with children but he loves to play
'boxing' with my dad. It's hilarious. When the day is done he'll put
his furry head on my lap and go to sleep. So cute! He got very sick a
few years ago and I was worried I would lose him but thanks to our great
vet and Dewey's stubbornness, he pulled through. I love him a lot and
its always nice to go home to see him. My big purr-box is one of a
kind.
