This
is Sir Seamus laying in his crib up on his window perch. Sir Seamus
is our Blue Mitted Point Ragdoll who came from Royaldolls Ragdolls
cattery in Rome, PA. He is such a sweet, loving and gentle boy and is
constantly entertaining us with his sweet Ragdoll charm.
When we first brought him home he wasn't quite three pounds. He was such a
tiny little thing. Before we even made it through the door of our
apartment, he was yelling at us to let him out so he could explore the
place. As soon as we let him out of his carrier, he told us who was the
boss of the place; he was into every little corner, cubbyhole, you name
it. By the time he was finished exploring the apartment, he was sitting
on top of his three-foot high scratching post we had bought for him. He
looked like he was sitting on top of the world the way he was perched up
there.
Every morning he patiently waits for us to open our eyes before he
attacks us to get up out of bed so he can sit between the inner/outer
shower curtains while we take our showers; he loves running water. It
seems every time we walk by the bathroom or turn the bathroom
sink/bathtub/shower water on he is right next to you within seconds
wanting a sip of water. He also enjoys taking short car rides around
town and sits in the back window and watches everything. When we come
home he flops himself down in front of our feet all sprawled out on his
back wanting a tummy rub. He loves to be held and rocked like a baby
and looks up at you with his big blue eyes. He turns into one big teddy
bear when we're holding him. He even has a basket he sleeps in that we call
it his crib.
Whenever we take him to our friends and families homes, he likes to take
over and dominate. We refer to him as a Cabbog since he has fur like a
rabbit, acts like a dog and looks like a cat. He's now 7.5 months old
and weighing in at 8.5 pounds. The ragdoll breed can get up to 15-20
pounds for full-grown altered males. His mother is ten pounds and his
father is fourteen pounds. It will be interesting to see how big he gets when
full grown.
