Tiger
Bo was given to me from my mother-in-law. :) I have never owned
nor took care of a animal before we originally got him for her but I
started taking care of him and I guess she thought it was best for me to
have him instead. So she wrappped a red bow around him and gave him to
me on Christmas. Now thinking about it, I remembered that I cried because
it was my responsibility to care for a animal. At the time he came to
us as a runt and we found out he had been sick so took care of him and got him
back to good health. I came across the name Tiger because he has a wild
side, and sometimes can be a bit mean. He is eight years old now still going strong and I
have saved his life two more times. Once he had a bladder infection and now
he has kitty diabetes.
He has to have special food and fourteen units of insulin a day to stay alive.
I really feel a special bond with him. When I am sad, he knows, and when I
was sick he is there for me as well. Tiger as a kitten loved to
pounce, now he just plays when he wants to and still is a cutie pie. I
have a blanket I paid a bunch of money for to always have - it has a
picture of him and his name on it. This is the picture of him I used for
my blanket.
I do know the day will come he will pass but now I just cherish every
moment I have with him. I have also dressed him up in baby clothes and
he looks so cute all dressed up.
