This
is my adopted kitty, Baby. This is when I just got him, about four
months old, but now he is two years old. He is just a regular domestic
shorthair cat, but he is not regular to me. Baby has a big personality.
He is very funny at playtime and a good snuggler at bedtime. Just when
I think I know him, he comes up with a new trick of some kind. He
actually plays fetch like a dog with small toys!! He can easily leap
into the air after a toy, reaching eye level on me (I am only 5'4"
though). When he gets his nightly hyper streak, he zooms through the
house back and forth like lightning. He also likes to play hide-n-seek
and tag with me.
He actually picked his own name. We started with the adopted name
Benny. Then wanted to change it to Billy. He didn't take to that
very well. One day, my husband and I were joking around saying that he
was our little furry baby. So we starting calling him Baby and he
responded immediately. He is just everything I ever wanted in a cat!
He still has his times of getting in trouble but it is to be expected.
After all, Baby is reaching his teen age years now. Ha Ha!
