This
is my Solid Blue Tonkinese - Chloe (Chloe Amaryllis or ChloChlo).
When I first glimpsed Chloe, she was with her siblings in a basket of
towels, sleeping on her back with her head thrown back - totally
relaxed! When I went to pick out a kitten, she chose me by jumping into
my arms to be held. Her father is a blue solid Burmese and her mother is
a chocolate point Siamese. She turned out more Burmese and looks like
her father. She is nine and a half months old and weighs 6.5 pounds. I've
raised her on a raw meat (naturally-raised) diet. I mix raw meat into
this base I order. She never misses her litter and luckily has no
digestion problems. She's also very docile when getting her nails
clipped.
Chloe is very sweet natured, loves to give "kisses", be cuddled and
petted. She doesn't hesitate to jump from the floor to a shoulder or
from the bed to top of a door. That's when I come along and "rescue"
her. She "talks" sometimes - mostly to let me know it's meal time! She
grunts a lot - have you seen the movie "Young Frankenstein"? When the
monster makes a grunty sound - that's her! And she has a very loud purr
she's not afraid to use.
Most evenings are spent chasing a toy mouse for awhile before "killing"
it and eating it; jumping up after ribbons or "snakes" on sticks;
getting kitten massages; or sweetly napping on her back in my lap
anywhere from 9-11pm when it's time to wake up and play with me because
I'm going to bed for the night:)
Chloe makes my life 100% better. She is very amusing, totally loving,
and quite well-behaved. I am so lucky to have her.
