When
I picked out Elliot, he was the only kitten who was not playing
with the other kittens in the group, he was off in the corner staring
out the window with a little scratch on his nose. I had to have him so I
brought him home and he was very shy at first. In the past eight years
Elliot's personality has bloomed and he is the friendliest and most
outgoing cat I have ever seen. When people come over, he has to be the
first to greet them and will eventually take up residence in their lap.
I have not met a person yet who does not fall in love with Elliot (nor
have I met a person that Elliot does not love!)
Elliot's favorite resting position is in the middle of the floor, on his
back, with his big belly hanging out to the world. He is very verbal
when he is not getting enough attention and will ham it up until you
play with him. He loves to hide under our rug (never mind that a seventeen pound
lump is a little conspicuous) and run around with his favorite toy, a
long plastic stick with feathers on the end (which now only has two
feathers left!). Elliot really is an all around great cat, with more
personality than most people I know!
