Hi,
My name is Rusty, aka Rustofer Jones, Roscoe P Coltrane, Rustoleum.
Last year, my mom and dad were looking for an orange tabby kitten. They
scoured the shelters and pet stores of Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Finally, their favorite pet store called (a nice clean, humane one--not
one of those yucky ones!) and told them they had found me. What they
didn't know is that I actually told the pet store to call them because I
had heard through the kitty grapevine that they had two crotchety adult
cats at home who could use some perking up. So now I live with my mom
and dad, and Eli--my great friend and role model (although he gets mad
when I a jump on him and ride him like a pony until we fall off things
together) and Hairy--a total priss who likes no one but her brush (but I
think secretly thinks I am cute, I mean, how could you not??). :)
My parents love me because I bring youthful energy and mischief to their
home. As you can see, I love towels, balls, and anything else that
rolls. I also love all of my mom's kitty beanie babies (she has every
single cat!), but I sure wish I could she would let get up on that shelf
to join them. :(
Anyway, I especially love my dad, Nate, who's not feeling so hot. Up
until me, he's never had a kitty to call his own - my mom was always the
one who was the big cat person. But now, every night, I crawl between
his legs and fall asleep so that he has to sleeping sitting up with six
pillows!!
