Ringo
is a real sweetie! I've only had Ringo about five weeks - he was a
owner surrender at a shelter. He was labeled as a Siamese mix, but what
they didn't realize is that he is a Bengal- and he's just beautiful -
blue eyes and all, which never show up very well in a photo. He was a
nervous wreck for a while, but he has since calmed down and what a lover
boy he is!
I've only had Ringo a short time, and since he is having to start over
again, he's just now really staring to settle in- his personality is
becoming more apparent. My other cat (died in July) was amazing-
practically a legend. I have a thousand stories about him, but Ringo is
just getting started. He is extremely affectionate and loves to watch
the Young and the Restless with me each day (woohoo- a soap buddy!). He
only eats his kitty food, which is really strange. I've never had a cat
who didn't beg for people food. He is a big boy and beautiful with blue
eyes. He likes to play with mylar balloons and a rabbit's foot. My
husband and I do not let him sleep in our bedroom at night- cuz he wants
to get up and play in the middle of the night, but he is learning to
sneak under our bed when he knows it's our bedtime (unbeknownst to us)
only to jump on the bed much later and scare the heck out of us! Too
funny!
Ringo is a big talker, but so soft. He has the teeny-tiniest little cry
for such a big boy. He loves to chit-chat and what a lap cat! He is so
big that he spills out off of our laps, but he sure tries to snuggle as
best he can. He's the sweetest thing on the planet and I am so thankful
to have him. It's a good feeling to give a cat that came from a shelter
a home ... who knows where he might've ended up otherwise, I am still
shaking my head, wondering why someone would surrender him up because
they were moving.
