Gender: Male
Kind: Orange tabby, Abyssinian
Home: Ann Arbor, Michagan, USA

Hello! My name is Andy! My mom and dad met me at the animal shelter on a cold December afternoon. I was tiny, had a cold, and reached out my tiny paw to them and let out a tiny mew. My parents fell in love with me on the spot!!

I love to play! I live to play! I would rather play than eat, sleep, cuddle, or even have treats or drink milk! Playing is my passion!! I love to run around the apartment and wreak havoc on everyone! I can jump five feet high and I'm not shy to show it! And I have sharp claws and can climb up anything, including my mom! She doesn't like it very much when I try to climb up her. But she needs to share her macaroni & cheese with me!! yummy!!

I'm almost a full-grown tiger now at eight months and eight pounds. I love my big brother and sister, Cory and Billie. Sometimes they can't keep up with me, because I am so full of energy! I can go from a deep sleep to climbing up the walls within a split second! I love to bother my mom and dad every night at 3 a.m. with my favorite toy of all time: mom's headband. I fetch the headband and I will do it all night if I can! But my parents usually hide it by the time it's 4 a.m. I stole the headband from my mom when I first moved here. Actually I stole three of her headbands. I also stole all of her hair ties, and some bobby pins. I guess I'm a klepto when it comes to my mom's hair accessories! She finally found where I've stashed them all... sheesh, of course the hair ties would be under the oven, refrigerator, and scale!

My mom says that kittens are just crazy sometimes. But that's not me!! I'm crazy all the time! Except right now. Right now I'm fighting off the urge to fall asleep as I sit in my mom's lap. Meow!

Mom here: We recently found out that he is half Abyssinian from a cat connoisseur - you can tell by his skinny body and long limbs and exotic face. He must have inherited the markings from the tabby parent, but I always knew he was no ordinary tabby. And that explains why he's so curious and crazy and full of energy! Unlike a typical Abyssinian, he loves to cuddle with his mom. He will follow me everywhere and look up at me until I pick him up and carry him around the house with me. I even put him in a messenger bag at times so that my hands are free and he can still be near me. He sleeps between his mom & dad at night with his little head on the pillow!! :) And he's always willing to help his mom cook dinner. He loves looking up at the counter as I chop onions. He's doing great and has grown slightly from the size he is in the picture we sent.
