This
is sweet Jib, whom I adopted from a pet rescue organization at six
months old. When I first saw him he was behind a glass wall with a group
of other kittens waiting to be adopted. The kittens were running around
playing and sleeping except for Jib, who followed me from one side of
the glass to the other as I looked at the other kittens. At that moment
I knew he was mine!
He is a very warm and loving lap cat who just recently took on a new
family when I got married. He made the transition beautifully from living alone
with me, to living with my new husband, young son, two Labradors and a
pet lizard. He loves all the activity in the house and has even decided
he likes to sit in the chair with my husband while he watches sports on
TV. He also enjoys playfully swatting at the Labradors' tails while they
try to ignore him.
Every morning Jib waits patiently for me to wake up. As soon as he hears
me stir he comes into the bedroom to get his morning cuddles. Jib is
part of our family and we love him very much!
