Nicodemus,
or as he is called, Nicky-D, is the sweetest cat I have ever
had. He loves to be with his Mom and the feeling is mutual. He is also
extremely jealous of his brother, Einstein and his sister, Esther. He
used to attack my husband when he came home from work just because he
didn't want any competition. He is quite the momma's boy. He sleeps on
my pillow and at fifteen pounds, he pretty much takes up the entire pillow.
My husband thinks I am crazy but we found him outside of a meat shop in
Georgia very early one morning. We were across the street from the shop
and kept hearing a kitten cry so we started looking for the cry. We
found him sitting behind a payphone pedestal. We gathered him up and
never looked back. A week later, the phone was removed and the meat shop
went out of business. I told my husband, God placed him there just for
me. Once I had him, neither the phone nor the business was needed any
more! I am sure he came straight from heaven!
He used to be called "the little thug" by my husband as he was
constantly beating up our older cats but he has since made up with him
and he loves him as well. Nicky is really a very special cat and though
a bit skittish of most people, he picks and chooses pretty well!
