Smokey
is such a cool, calm cat, and a real sweetheart. Since Smokey is
a stray who adopted us and was already neutered we can only guess his
age. We've had him approximately ten years.
He is a very sweet-natured cat and is so calm he actually purrs at the
vet's office. Everyone loves him. He is not a lap cat and only tolerates
being held but he loves to be brushed and have his chin scratched.
He isn't amused with toys, appearing to be above all that, instead
preferring the real thing. He basically leaves the birds and squirrels
alone but can't resist lizards. Many have been deposited on our door mat
and even though I love all animals, including lizards, I can't be mad at
him because I know these are little "love gifts" from him to us.
