This
is October (I named him that because his colors reminded me of the
month). I got him after my other cat, Tiger Lily, died. He and I became
attached to each other very quickly.
October is very friendly to almost anyone. He sometimes goes on walks
with me, but rides on my shoulder most of the time. I've trained him to
sit, and stay when I tell him to. I'm trying to train him to learn how to
lay, I might try to teach him other things later. He loves to be
scratched on his back and under his chin, but he does not like to be
scratched on his tummy. When I go to pick him up he knows exactly where
his place is. He loves to cuddle on my shoulder, and when he does he
always rolls into me. While he can very affectionate he can also be very
independent at other times. He can be very sassy and jealous when I pay
any attention to any other animal. During the day he roams about the
neighborhood as if he owns it.
I am very happy that I am fortunate enough to have him for a pet. I hope
he lives for many, many more years. I love him so much.
