This
is my Sphynx kitten, Tucker. We got Tucker from Angelic Sphynx in
Iowa. I have always been a dog person, but after a lot of research, I
decided I wanted to get a Sphynx. It was the best decision I ever made.
Corilee at Angelic was wonderful to work with and we all love Tucker
dearly.
Tucker is a definite "lap cat". He loves his family as much as we love
him. Each morning he makes his rounds to give his morning hellos and
loving. Each afternoon when his brothers get home school he is waiting.
Everything they say about a Sphynx is true. They love interaction with
their family. Tucker wants to be with us every minute we are home.
They are also very good-natured. When we went to the mall in December
for Pet Night with Santa Tucker was a big hit. Everyone wanted to
see and pet him because they had never seen a hairless cat. Tucker was
just laying in my arms and didn't flinch even when a small child came
towards him to pet him. He just took it all in stride and I really
think he was eating it all up because he knows he is adorable. People
commented on how gentle and laid back he is.
Tucker doesn't do any special tricks, but is very special to us. He
loves to play with his sister, Sadie the Boxer. Although Sadie is much
larger than Tucker she is very gentle with him. All you have to do is
shake his treats and he comes running.
