After
the loss of my shaded golden Persian I knew I wanted another
golden. I searched the internet, and most of the few I found where a
long ways away. Then as luck would have it, I found a small cattery,
only a short ferry ride away. I got to see all the kittens pictures as
they were growing up, and I knew I wanted Mimi from the beginning.
She loves to lounge on the sofa (as you see in the picture) with her
mom, and her favorite past time is chasing balls. If you really want to
make Mimi's day all you have to do is throw her a fuzzy catnip ball on
the stairs. She will play for hours on the stairs chasing it down and
carrying it back up again.
Mimi is trained to a leash and loves going for car rides or walks in the
park. Mimi thinks our gas fireplaces is for her personal use and she
believes she can will it to turn on when she feels cold. She will paw at
it for several minutes and somehow magically it will turn on to her
delight. Then she lays in front of it and does what we call "The fat
cat" (rolls over on back with all paws stretched out) and bakes herself!
