Hello!
My name is Jax and I am a lover...L-O-V-E-R... lover. I love
to eat and I love to cuddle and I love to play and I love to sleep and
I love my new family and I love to eat. I don't know why, but my new
family laughs at me all the time. They pet me on the head and tell me
how silly I am. They sometimes smooch on me too, and I don't like that
as much. I'm a pretty big boy and I work hard at keeping my portly
appearance, which requires long naps after every big meal. Even though
I'm big, I'm agile and stealthy when playtime requires sneaking about
and fancy maneuvering.
My new mom and dad brought me to my new home earlier this year. They
introduced me to my adopted sister, Clementine, and she's a pretty girl.
She's new here too and she's only seven months old. She recently went on an
overnight trip to a spa and had a bikini wax and pedicure - at least
that's what I thought. Somebody there must have goofed, because she
came home with stitches and didn't look happy and relaxed like Mom does
when she goes to the spa.
Anyway, my new family is nice and treats us well. They adopted me from
a foster family that I loved. But that family had an older cat that
didn't like me at all. She fussed and fussed until they finally found
somewhere new for me to live. I miss them sometimes, but I sure don't
miss that cranky cat. I've got a good life here and I've heard Mom and
Dad tell people I'm a "keeper" so it looks like I've found my forever
home! Yea!
