One
morning my wife heard a strange sound coming from our backyard. On
investigation we found five little kittens and their mother under a
piece of corrugated iron sheeting. We have never had cats before, as we
thought of ourselves as dog people. After a few days the mother
disappeared and left us with her babies. We decided to keep two of them
and found homes for the others.
This is a picture of Babycat (her original name was Tiger but that did
not stick). her sister's name is Frankcesca (yes that's how you spell
it). Babycat is posing in a water feature (sans water) in the garden.
Babycat sleeps on my tummy while I watch tv, or on the computer keyboard
while I type. She is always with me. Frank, on the other hand, sleeps
on my daughter's bed at night with her. Thanks to Babycat and her
sister, we are now definitely cat people.
