This
is our cat Scooby! We rescued him from a local animal shelter the
day before 9/11, after a trip to New York and he's done nothing but
bring joy to our lives!
When we took him home he had a bad dose of cat flu, but after a period
of antibiotics, steroids, eye and ear drops he made an excellent
recovery. He's been left with a bad "smokers" cough, but he's fit, fun
and healthy according to the vet.
We've discovered that he has special terms for myself and my husband and
I go by the name of "door" and Dermott is "fridge" - I don't think I
need to expand on that comment too much ... any cat owner will understand.
Needless to say for a tomcat he's incredibly affectionate and loves
cuddles, sleeping on your chest or just generally being around his
people. He's a treasure.
