Marco
had one of the sweetest dispositions I have ever encountered. He
was very extroverted, totally unafraid of strangers. Indeed, he would
almost dare them to sit down so he could leap into their lap! And he had
the most luxuriant coat - with marcel waves and so rich and thick he was
my "cashmere kitty."
He shared his life with his littermate Zaki, who is as introverted as Marco
was extroverted. I never saw Marco pick a fight with his brother, but,
rather, he'd retreat and let Zaki have his way. He also shared his food - I
never saw him push his brother out of the way.
The only thing he did hog was sunshine. He could lie endlessly, baking
in the sun so that his fur was hot to the touch.
Besides being a lap-cat, he was a snuggle bug, for nothing pleased him
more than to be held against my left shoulder, and he would wrap himself
around my neck. We miss you, Marco!
