This
is our precious Athena. We found her abandoned in a neighborhood
park. From what we could find out she had been there for two to three weeks
with no apparent food or water. Obviously, when I saw her laying there
on a picnic table, I fell in love.
She is an absolute angel. I have completely pampered and spoiled her but
she deserves it considering what she had been through. Athena refuses to
drink water from a bowl and will sit on the bathroom sink and wait for
someone to notice that she is waiting for her drink. If someone is sad
she is right there comforting them. She sleeps with me every night and
loves to watch the birds and the squirrels splash in the bird bath. She
is a joy to have in our life and I can't imagine life without her. Her
beautiful pastel green eyes sparkle when she looks at you. We have had
her almost a year now and she travels with us wherever we go on
vacation. She actually loves car rides! She also loves the camera as you
can tell!
