Keely-Ann
is my fourteen-year-old Russian Blue "child." Adopted at the
age of one, she has been my constant companion through good times and
bad. Patiently waiting for me to come home, she entwines herself back
and forth through my legs crying all the while as if to say "bad girl,
where have you been all day? Don't you know I need you here to love and
adore me?" And adore her I do ... she sleeps tucked up under the covers
right against my belly all night. She's my breathing hot rock and keeps
me snug and safe.
She's calm and quiet and puts up with medication twice a day for her
thyroid like a champ. She's also battling Kidney Failure but is holding
her own with the correct diet and lots of water. Occasionally she will
play like a kitten but mostly she prefers to sleep on her heated soft
pad up in the top of my wall unit (in the picture). There, she can be
the master of the house and watch me on the couch making sure that my
attention is divided between the her and whatever else I might be doing.
I love her dearly and am glad you have a chance to see what a wonderful
girl she is!
