This
is Gizzy McGuzzle Whizzle, a big, soft gentle ball of fluff who
loves being brushed and sleeping in strange places - like on smelly old
trainers or spiky heaps of coat hangers! He will be six on May 14, 2007.
He is a seriously laid back cat - when I chose him from his litter he
was so tiny that he curled up and fell asleep in the palm of my hand, so
he made my mind up for me! His brother Archie also insisted that he came
too and they became known as the Krays (infamous British gangsters). As
kittens, they decimated a gigantic cheese plant that they used as a
climbing frame and he was a fearless explorer - needing regular rescuing
from scaffolding, basements and derelict buildings. His longest
'holiday' was nine days and the sound of his meow when he came back at
five in the morning was one of the best moments of our lives!
He has moments of needing some concentrated affection from his humans
and will plant himself firmly on your chest with his paws round your
neck, a low purr, a trail of dribble and an inscrutable stare. We have
no idea what he is thinking, but who cares! We love him!
