We
got Gyspy the same day as we got her 'sister' Lexi. They were from
different litters but born less then a week apart. Gypsy was born June
6, Lexi was born June 11. When we first saw Gypsy, she was hanging
halfway out of a box, getting her belly rubbed. We soon decided she was
perfect. Since we couldn't choose between Gypsy and Lexi, we took both
home.
Before we took them home, we went into a room with Gyspy and Lexi to
make sure they got along. Lexi kinda hung out on the floor. Gypsy was
literally bouncing off the walls. She ripped one of my sister's
shoelaces to shreds, chewed on my hair, and bounced off Lexi's back
before we even got her home! On the ride home, Lexi hid under a blanket.
Gypsy stood with her nose pressed against the window, not scared at all.
Gypsy loves being outside. In fact, she almost got attacked by a hawk
once because she wouldn't come inside. Luckily my dog was there to 'save
the day.' I try not to let her go outside unless she's on a leash
because once she ran all the way down the street before I caught her.
One of Gypsy's favorite places is on top of the guinea pig cage. If I
don't cover the top with a towel, she will put her paw through the bars
and poke the guinea pigs. Not scratch, not trap, not injure, just poke.
If you walk past Gypsy, she will meow at you. And then she just stares
at you. It's funny because it's almost as if she's asking you what you
think you're doing.
Gypsy also loves making faces. She will lay there with her eyes closed
and make funny faces. Once she licked my dog's eye and look at me,
almost as if saying, "Well that was gross!' She is just priceless!
