Molly
came to live with me in 1999, when she chose me at a pet rescue
centre in Mid-Wales. I was wandering around the cat enclosure when she
strolled up to me asking for attention. Of course I picked her up and we
haven't looked back!
She is named after the 'unsinkable Molly Brown' of Titanic fame, as the
day I got her was the anniversary of the sailing of Titanic.
At first she was shy in her new home, but soon came out from under the
bed and learned how to get in under the duvet - a favorite snoozing
place when the weather is bad. If it is sunny she can be found stretched
out on the patio relaxing.
Molly loves attention and as I type this she is sitting on my lap! She
enjoys playing with string, but has never discovered what is interesting
about ball games!
Molly is loved by everyone who knows her, she is great with my young
nephew and niece, very tolerant of their games and is always gentle with
them. Even the vet loves her and calls her 'Tiny Tim' as she is so small
for a fully grown cat.
She is a talkative girl who always announces herself when entering a
room, she especially likes to make an entrance by strolling down the
stairs.
I can't imagine life without Molly - she is always a great friend and
comfort to me, she is one in a hundred million! One look at that eager
little face (with the 'eyeliner' around one eye) and you can't help smiling!
